SCHOOL STREET PLAZA
Thank you to everyone who attended our April 29 open house event at the Pavilion. We appreciated the opportunity to speak directly with so many community members about the project.
The Project:
The School Street Plaza proposal will redevelop the aging office complex at 95 Broadway into a new residential mixed-use community, offering:
243 new apartment homes, including 41 affordable units
A mix of studio, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units
322 parking spaces located within the building
5,750 square feet of ground-floor retail space
New community amenities
The Process:
In accordance with State housing laws, School Street Plaza is being reviewed under a ministerial (or “by-right”) approval process, as outlined in the Town’s Housing Element. This means the project is evaluated against the Town’s objective standards, without requiring public hearings, design or CEQA review.
